The Belmont section of the Bronx (called "Arthur
Avenue" by locals) has survived urban decay and
gentrification to remain a solid Italian-American
enclave. Behind this deli counter at the Arthur Avenue
Retail Market (opened in 1940 by Mayor Fiorello
LaGuardia), that old copy of "Life" tells you that
Frank & Fritzy aren't the only ones with fond memories
